I wanted to involve Thayer as much as possible in creating his own Thank You cards for his birthday. I had him paint a huge fingerpaint picture and then cut that up into small squares and mounted that. I then made him write about 26 "thanks" - this part met a bit more whining: "this reeks". He was very proud of his creations when I glued his writing to the bottom. This was a great way to use scraps and paper that I couldn't seem to match to anything else.
I Just opened the card and wondered if Thayer had a hand (or a finger) in creating them. What a great idea!!
