I have had the Hugs and Kisses pattern for years, waiting for the opportunity to use it. One finally presented it when my sister-in-law announced she was having a little baby girl. The majority of this quilt was created as a scrap-buster. I did let my little boy help to pick out the backing and the binding, which we used to make matching crib sheets. I love the colors in this quilt - the quilting pattern was done in bright, multicolored thread with stars and hearts - it couldn't have matched better. I hope my new little niece-to-be loves this quilt as much as I do.
