Olivia Baby Quilt
Who doesn't love the plucky little character Olivia from the popular children's book series? I could not resist this Olivia fabric when I found it two years ago and I finally found a use for it: a baby quilt for my husband's cousin's upcoming baby girl. This was a stash buster quilt for me, so it is a tad more pieced than I would prefer, but I still love it. Mostly, I love the fabric with all of the fun sayings. I used a triangle to cut all the pieces and tried really hard to keeep the sayings and some images of the adorable little pig. The red in the middle was from a previous quilt that I have posted on this blog and the red border is from the curtains in my baby boy's room. I backed and bound it with fun red polka dot fabric. To finish off the gift, I added a little Olivia board book and a doll. I can't wait to gift this one.
