This is Annie and Justin's wedding quilt. I have been working on this quilt for a little over a year at this point. I think that it took me so long, because I just over-thought everything from the pattern to the backing. The fabric and colors are so traditional; I hope that this modern couple likes the end result.
This quilt is made entirely of homespun fabric and quilted with a heart pentagram. It was truly a labor of love and I am excited to give it to Annie and Justin. The quilt is called "Mended Hearts", because it is made of appliqued hearts that have been cut into pieces and then put back together.
Today is April 8 of 2012, so that would make the wedding gift about 6 months late. Better late than never is what they say though, and I am hoping that Annie and Justin will see it that way as well. This is the quilt block that I put on the back of the quilt.
that quilt is so lovely. well done Roselyn.
