This is such a simple idea, but one that is completely ingenious. Why didn't I think of this before? Basically, all that you do is fill an ice cube tray with oil (I used olive oil) and then add herbs from the garden. When the oil has frozen, pop out the cubes and store them in a ziplock bag in the freezer. Then, when you are ready to cook and all of your fresh herbs are gone, pop one of these babies in the skillet and wah-lah.
