Thayer painted this lovely painting by picking his favorite animals from the toy bin and then dipping their feet into paint and making "animal footprints" all over the paper. He liked to pick the different animals and see the prints that they made. This was a great craft project for a little boy. He did get a little carried away and wanted to use a toy car and then a 2 foot T-Rex, but we ended up with a great piece of art.
